Course Description
This meeting will employ both case presentation and panel discussion formats. Educational programming will include current concepts of diagnosis and treatment in head and neck medicine. New techniques and technology will be addressed, as well as outcomes of surgical techniques.
 
Course faculty is comprised of internationally recognized experts in academic otolaryngology. The audience will be comprised of otolaryngologists and associated professionals seeking the latest information in general otolaryngology, rhinology, head and neck surgery, and otology. This meeting will provide an environment conductive to free exchange of experience and the sharing of clinical outcomes with the ultimate goal of advancing and improving patient care.
 
Purpose
The purpose of this program is to provide otolaryngologists an opportunity to review and update knowledge in general otolaryngology, rhinology, head and neck surgery, and otology.

CME Credit
Vanderbilt School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
 
Vanderbilt School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 24 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


Objectives
After attending the educational sessions, each physician should be able to describe and discuss:
  1. current practice management, including medical and surgical approaches
  2. various protocols/procedures carried out in major medical teaching centers
  3. the latest methods of diagnosis and treatment of the head and neck disease process
  4. various approaches to the contemporary management of otolaryngologic disorders 
Target Audience
This program is designed for practicing otolaryngologists and associated health care professionals seeking the latest information in head and neck medicine.
